This word Maker where did it come from, in my day we were called craftsman. I spent 45 years building prototypes for many different manufacturing company's working with some of most state of the art machinery, but at home my old machinery brought me peace and relaxation.
It
is funny how you start doing things and the next thing you know you
are selling them. I make everything by
hand from native and exotic hardwoods, we add stone, some resin, a
little bone, precious metals, all ways looking for something unique.
All of my jewelry is designed and
handmade by me.

is Bloodwood is
an exotic wood that is sometimes referred to as cardinal wood, for
its obvious beautiful deep rose color.
Scientific name is Satine
Rubanne its from South America.The
inlay is crushed Amethyst,
Amethyst
is a naturally-occurring macrocrystalline variety of quartz that
usually grows on the inside of agate geodes.Cross-culturally,
this popular gemstone was used as a symbol of peace and unification.
It is also thought to evoke feelings of serenity and calmness in
those who wear it.Amethyst
is often used during meditation to provide an overall sense of
spiritual balance.I
cut the wood and groove it for the stone then cut and crush the stone
from a larger piece of Amethyst and
glue it in the channel grind polish and finish the piece then add the
bead and earring
hook.
